La señora Jesús @ Macchu Pichu, Perú.
A native of Spain, Marta Escudé-Jesús received her Master’s Degree in English and German Philology from the University of Barcelona. She also studied Second Language Acquisition at the Freie Universität Berlin. La señora Jesús holds a Master’s in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education and an Illinois state teaching certificate with endorsements in Spanish, German, English as a Second Language and Bilingual Education. At North Park University, she has recently completed her certification approval as a Bilingual Learning Behavior Specialist I.
In her free time, la señora Jesús loves to read, swim and play soccer with her 3-year old son.
La señora Jesús looks forward to continuing to develop a rich, standards-based Spanish curriculum and instill a greater intercultural appreciation of and sensitivity to all students at James Ward School.
